Dallas Pride Seeking Executive Director

Dallas Pride is looking for a new Executive Director after Michael Doughman announces early retirement.

As was announced earlier this year Michael Doughman after 17 years of service has decided to retire as the Executive Director of the Dallas Tavern Guild which produces Dallas Pride. Michael originally planned to retire after Dallas Pride 2019 but has decided to make 2018 his last year as leader of the organization. We want to thank Michael for his years of his faithful service to the guild and helping Dallas Pride become what it is today.

That being said the hunt is on for a new Executive Director to help lead Dallas Pride and not only continue it’s success but take the event and make it a nationally and internationally recognized event that attracts visitors from across North America and the world. We are looking for a motivated self starter who can help take Dallas Pride to new levels. The next Executive Director will be tasked with growing our pride celebration into one that people talk about being among the best in the country and world. They need to bring fresh new ideas to the table and not be afraid to break the mold in their quest to deliver the ultimate pride experience. They will achieve this with the help of the Dallas Pride Steering Committee along with the members of the Dallas Tavern Guild.

The position will pay a base salary of $50,000 a year plus a commission on new and returning sponsorships. Interested candidates may send inquiries with a resume and cover letter to employment@dallaspride.org

The Executive Committee will be accepting applications thru August 15th, 2018. For more about Dallas Pride see our website at www.dallaspride.org
