Out and Equal Leadership Conference
There’s going to be a Crime Watch group meeting at The Oak Lawn Library on Oct 21, at 12:00 noon. The Dallas Tavern Guild and Cedar Springs Merchant Assoc. will be in attendance.
This will be the perfect opportunity for residences and patrons of the strip to address their opinions and concerns for the safety of our community in light of the recent wave of attacks on our friends and family.
Please don’t forget to sign the petition – it will email the board members automatically to let them know that you are not taking this safety issue lightly and we want a solution.

Designed for us, by us, Lez Talk is a women’s empowerment conference bringing together lesbian, transgender, bisexual, pansexual and demisexual women as well as our allies for a day of empowerment, support, love, and learning. This live, interactive and fun conference provides a safe space for lesbian singles and couples to learn and talk about topics from loving yourself to loving others and everything in between while protecting your dignity.
Sharing their personal and professional insights, speakers will offer tools to tackle issues affecting our well-being, and our romantic, family, and professional relationships. The conference is also aimed at equipping participants to navigate their roles as servants and leaders in the communities in which they live. Our mission is to help create stronger women who are healthy, proud, and unafraid to love and live authentic lives.
Join us for some or all of this three-day event! Let’s socialize at the pre-event welcome reception on Friday, get inspired at the Lez Talk conference on Saturday and work it out at the 3 mile walk on Sunday.
