Blake Baker, Alyson Calagna, and Lizard Lounge invite you to Release.

You may have heard NYC’s DJ Peter Napoli at one of his traveling BRÜT parties where his pulsating beat reigns over packed dance floors of men in gear. Peter’s musical inspiration is rooted in house and techno. Whether he is playing Burning Man, BRÜT or his newest musical venture, Voyage at Chelsea Music Hall, his music and rhythm is all about the journey.

We are excited to bring Peter to #release on May 31st as we celebrate Dallas Pride.

Pride Is a Protest March @ City of Dallas - City Hall
Jun 2 @ 12:00 pm

#PrideIsAProtest
The Stonewall riots which were a major milestone marking the beginning of the LGBTQ-rights movement began 50 years ago this June – due in large part to the work of some amazing trans women of color. This year, to celebrate this tremendous anniversary, the profit mongers at Tavern Guild of Dallas have decided to move OUR PRIDE PARADE into the biggest closet in the city. They did this for MONEY and no other reason. They have forgotten that PRIDE IS A PROTEST; that VISIBILITY IS LIFE; that SILENCE IS DEATH; and that THEY CANT BUY OUR PRIDE. Let’s remind them these things and show them that TRANSGENDER PRIDE OF DALLAS WONT BE SILENT OR CLOSETED!!! We will MARCH! Through the streets of DOWNTOWN DALLAS. From CITY HALL to the gates of the fair park closet itself. Their closet parade begins at 2pm. We will march beginning at noon.
