Uptown Girl
Uptown Girl is a gorgeous 4 year old liver and tan Bloodhound that was surrendered, along with her daughter, by their owner due to his declining health. This beautiful hound weighs approximately 90 lbs and is housetrained and cratetrained. She is fine with other dogs so long as they are not confrontational with her. She walks well on a leash and is great in the car. Uptown Girl is very timid around strangers at first but will warm up quickly with the help of ear rubs and back scratches. Uptown Girl is waiting in the Dallas area for her new family.
Josie
Josie is an 8 year old coonie girl that is being returned to Rescue due to a family member's severe allergies. She is shy when first meeting new people, but she warms up quickly and then her true personality comes out. She's curious and loves following her people around the house to see what's going on. She will curl up in a ball at your feet when watching TV so that she can be close. Josie loves going for walks, and still has lots of puppy energy when it's time to go somewhere or do something. Josie loves being petted and brushed and laying out on the back porch keeping lookout for rabbits and birds. She is cratetrained and housetrained. Josie is waiting in the Dallas area
Pepper
Pepper is a 2 year old Redtick Coonhound that was found as a stray and now safe in foster care in Dallas. This gorgeous girl is petite (around 45-50 lbs) and loves everyone she meets - 2 legged and 4 legged. She does well in the house and in her crate. She loves car rides and long walks. Pepper doesn't get the whole COVID-19 - personal space / 6' apart because she loves to be right in your face stealing kisses. Pepper is a happy girl with not a care in the world, now that she's safe in rescue.
Marty
Marty is a 7-8 year old Redtick boy waiting in the Dallas area for a new home that will provide a soft bed and air-conditioned comfort! Don't let his age fool you - Marty loves to go for walks or hikes and is always up for an adventure. In good weight at about 75 lbs, he loves people and is very social. He knows basic commands, is cratetrained and caught on quickly to housetraining. Marty gets along with other dogs but pretty much ignores them.
Oreo
Oreo is an 8 month old Treeing Walker boy that will be fostered in the Dallas area while he waits for a new home. He has a sweet, loving personality and is very smart. This 45 lb boy is still very much a puppy and, as such, is best suited for a home with older children. Like any smart, young dog, Oreo will need regular exercise and continued training so that he can mature into a wonderful companion. He's housetrained and working on cratetraining. Oreo would thrive in a home with a doggie playmate at least his size and a fenced yard.
Opal
Opal is a 2 year old petite Bluetick that was found as a stray and brought into rescue. This gorgeous girl is a bit timid at first when she meets new people, but quickly warms up for petting and belly rubs. Opal appears to be house and crate trained with no accidents so far. She walks well on a leash but is a bit nervous at first on car rides. Opal gets along with the other hounds in her foster home and loves her people. Opal is located in Houston.
